Spring arrived with Kelly leading us through morning exercises—stretching, laughing, and setting ourselves up for the day ahead. These sessions have become about so much more than movement; they're about encouraging each other and feeling capable together.
Our shopping trips with Lisa and Keelie were absolute highlights. Getting out into the community, trying on new outfits, and seeing the confidence shine through—that's what it's all about. The transformation isn't just in the clothes; it's in how we feel wearing them.
Halloween brought out our theatrical side! We transformed our home into something delightfully spooky, with costumes so convincing we actually frightened each other. Melbourne Cup Day had us so engrossed in picking horses and placing bets that we forgot to take photos—which tells you everything about how caught up we were in the excitement.
Our Remembrance Day service held special meaning this year with Able Seaman Nathan Graham joining us. Standing together, sharing stories, and honouring those who served reminded us of the values we hold dear.
Throughout spring, puppy therapy sessions paired with fancy morning teas became something we genuinely looked forward to—lovely treats, a warm puppy on your lap, and good company. It's the perfect combination.
As we head into summer, we're looking forward to more sunshine, outdoor activities, and reasons to gather together. Kewarra is home because of the people here, and we're grateful to share it with each other.
