Kewarra Aged Care May 2025

May 2025 has truly been a special month at Kewarra Aged Care - filled with wonderful moments of love, laughter, and togetherness. These Kewarra community highlights are a great testament to how vibrant, inclusive, and caring our residents, families, and staff are.

We opened the month up with bursts of creativity and colour through our hugely popular Diamond Art sessions and fun Happy Hours - always a favourite within our community. Whether it was relaxing with friends whilst enjoying a drink or bringing together a piece of artwork with beads and sparkles, everyone was full of spirit and smiles.

Our hearts were very full this month, with the truly special moments of Music Therapy and the unconditional love of Puppy Love. Both sessions offered comfort, joy, and plenty of cuddles - a lovely reminder of the power of music and animals to feed the soul.

Among the events this month, we certainly enjoyed our Mother’s Day Sip and Paint High Tea! Residents and their family members joined together to honour the special ladies in their lives. Between the lovely cakes and tarts, the Shirley Temple cocktails, live music with Nico, a lot of fun, artistic creations, and special family moments, the day allowed us to come together and celebrate these wonderful women in our life. It was really heartwarming to witness everyone come together to celebrate our lovely mums.

From the art to the music, puppies to the painted canvases, every moment in May has made us appreciate the spirit of Kewarra– connection, creativity, and community.

May 2025 at Kewarra Aged Care was filled with the kind of moments that remind us why we do what we do — connection, celebration and a whole lot of heart. From soulful music to colourful canvases, we made memories worth framing.
