Kewarra Aged Care Summer Newsletter 2025-2026

Summer at Kewarra Aged Care has been a season full of warmth, laughter, and moments worth celebrating. Our Summer Newsletter is here, and it captures everything that made these past few months so special for our community at Kewarra Beach.

A Summer Packed with Highlights

December kicked things off in the most festive way possible - Christmas biscuit decorating, a beautifully staged family photo area in the hub, and a residents and staff Christmas party that our team poured their hearts into. A Christmas Happy Hour with families followed, complete with a riotous game of Pass the Christmas Present. To close out the year on a high note, our brand new Beauty Room and Spa opened its doors - a peaceful, gorgeous space where residents can relax and enjoy a little pampering.

January brought a more gentle pace as we eased into the new year. Community group visits, a spot of shopping, Australia Day trivia, a thong throwing competition, a sausage sizzle, and some peaceful time spent painting together - all the ingredients for a happy summer month at Kewarra.

February turned out to be a month to remember for food lovers. Eight residents were invited to join Head Chef Carsten in his private dining room for a stunning a la carte lunch experience - an event that has since become a monthly occasion. Chef Carsten also surprised the community with a pop-up omelette station at breakfast, which was a hit all round.
