Kewarra Aged Care in July 2026: blues, friends and fun
Kewarra Aged Care residents packed July with good company, good food and a little friendly mischief. From a blues themed evening to fun with friends old and new, this month was a lovely reminder of just how connected our community is.
A night for the blues
Early in the month we swapped our usual colours for shades of blue and settled in for an evening of music and laughter. Residents dressed up, sang along and enjoyed catching up with friends over a shared meal. It was a simple night, but one full of warmth and good company.
A fortnight of fun, friends and food
The back half of July brought a wonderful stretch of activities we like to call our fortnight of fun. We caught up with friends, enjoyed favourite meals together and joined in games and entertainment throughout the fortnight. There was plenty of laughter along the way, and a few surprises that kept everyone smiling. We even captured some of the highlights on video, including a few of our residents showing off their best moves.
An outing to a local favourite
To round out the fortnight, a group of us headed out to one of our favourite local spots for an afternoon of company and conversation. We enjoyed good food, friendly chats and a change of scenery, and a few of us may have stayed out a little longer than planned. Outings like this are always a highlight, giving residents a chance to enjoy the wider Kewarra Beach community together.
